Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Rebytes LLC collects through rebytes.net, how we use it, and the choices available to you. It covers this website only; personal data we process on behalf of a client under a services agreement is governed by that agreement.

1. Who We Are

Rebytes LLC is a Wyoming Limited Liability Company with its registered office at 30 N Gould St, Ste R, Sheridan, WY, 82801, United States. We are an IT Managed Services Provider. We deliver managed infrastructure, the NexusWA WhatsApp automation platform, and Odoo ERP development and hosting.

Rebytes LLC is the controller responsible for the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us at any time at contact@rebytes.net.

2. Information We Collect

We keep collection deliberately narrow. There are three categories:

  • Information you send us directlyWhen you email us or submit an inquiry, we receive what you choose to include — typically your name, business email address, company name, telephone number and a description of your technical requirements.
  • Technical server recordsOur hosting provider records standard request data — IP address, timestamp, requested URL, browser user agent and response status — for a short period to deliver the site, mitigate abuse and diagnose faults. We do not use these records to build profiles of individual visitors.
  • Interface preferencesYour chosen colour theme and language are stored in your browser's local storage on your own device. They are never transmitted to us and never leave your device.

What we do not collect

  • No advertising or cross-site tracking technologies.
  • No behavioural analytics, session recording or heat mapping.
  • No sale, rental or sharing of personal information for advertising.
  • No special-category data, payment card numbers or government identifiers through this website.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information above only for the purposes for which it was provided:

  • To answer your inquiry and prepare a scope, proposal or quotation.
  • To deliver, support and invoice contracted services.
  • To operate, secure and troubleshoot this website.
  • To meet accounting, tax and other legal obligations.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects, and we do not send marketing email to addresses that contacted us about a specific technical inquiry.

4. Cookies and Local Storage

This website sets no cookies of its own — no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies and no consent-management cookies. That is why you are not shown a cookie banner.

We use two local storage entries, both strictly functional: `rebytes-theme` records your light or dark preference and `rebytes-lang` records your language. You can clear both at any time through your browser's site-data controls, with no loss of functionality.

5. Third-Party Services

Two third parties are necessarily involved in serving this website. We name them so the picture is complete:

  • Hosting and content deliveryThis site is served from Cloudflare's edge network. Cloudflare processes request metadata, including your IP address, as a service provider on our behalf and under its own security and privacy terms.
  • Web fontsTypefaces are loaded from Google Fonts. When your browser requests a font file, Google receives your IP address and user agent. Google states that Google Fonts does not set cookies or use these requests for advertising.

Beyond these, no third-party scripts, pixels, embedded widgets or advertising networks run on this website.

6. Client Data We Process Under Contract

When we operate infrastructure, host an Odoo instance or run NexusWA for a client, we may process personal data belonging to that client's own customers and staff. In that role we act as a processor on documented instructions from the client, who remains the controller.

  • We do not use client data for our own purposes, and we never sell it.
  • Access is limited to the engineers assigned to that engagement.
  • On termination, data is returned or destroyed as the services agreement directs.

7. Data Retention

  • Business correspondence and inquiries: retained while the commercial relationship is active and for up to 24 months afterwards.
  • Contracts, invoices and accounting records: retained for the period required by applicable tax and corporate law.
  • Technical server records: retained briefly by our hosting provider for security and diagnostics.

8. Information Security

Security is our core discipline and we apply it to our own systems. All traffic to this website is encrypted in transit with TLS. Access to internal systems requires multi-factor authentication and is granted on a least-privilege basis. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security — but we will notify affected parties and any required authority without undue delay if a breach affecting personal data occurs.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Wherever you are located, you may ask us to do any of the following, and we will honour the request:

  • Confirm whether we hold personal information about you, and obtain a copy of it.
  • Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Delete information we no longer need for a legal or contractual purpose.
  • Object to or restrict a particular use of your information.

Send your request to contact@rebytes.net. We respond within 30 days and do not charge a fee. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law, and we do not discriminate against anyone for exercising a privacy right.

10. International Transfers

Rebytes LLC is established in the United States and our service providers operate globally distributed infrastructure. Information you send us may therefore be processed in the United States or another country whose data-protection laws differ from those where you live. Where we host services for a client in a specific region, the data residency terms of that engagement take precedence.

11. Children's Privacy

Our services are sold to businesses and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to This Policy

If we change how we handle personal information, we will revise this page and move the effective date shown above. Material changes affecting existing clients will also be sent by email to the contact on the account.
